Ray J Claims Kris Jenner & Kim Kardashian Were Involved in 2007 Sex Tape Leak

Ray J is speaking out about his 2007 leaked sex tape with then-girlfriend Kim Kardashian.
On Wednesday, the Daily Mail published an explosive interview with the “Love & Hip Hop” star, shortly after news of his infamous sex tape resurfaced in the media.
As seen on an episode of “The Kardashians” last month, Kim’s ex-husband Kanye West said he flew from New York to Los Angeles to retrieve an alleged sex tape from Ray J that contained rumored new footage.
However, after clips from the episode went viral, Ray J commented on a post from Hollywood Unlocked, saying, “All of this is a lie smh. Can’t let them do this anymore - so untrue -.”
While speaking to the Daily Mail, Ray J denied ever leaking his and Kim’s tape.
“I’ve sat in the shadows for over 14 years allowing the Kardashians to use my name, to abuse my name, make billions of dollars over a decade and a half talking about a topic I’ve never really spoken about,” he said. “I’ve never leaked anything. I have never leaked a sex tape in my life. It has never been a leak.”
In his sit-down, Ray J alleged that Kim and her mom Kris Jenner were aware of the sex tape going public because they were allegedly involved in the deal.
Despite recent reports that there was another video with rumored new footage, Ray J claims that he did not possess any other explicit footage of him and Kim.
“I never had a single one at my house — she had them at her house. She’s always had all the tapes in a Nike shoebox under her bed,” he alleged. “That’s how it all came about. Once I pitched the idea to her, just playing around a little bit, that’s when she jumped on the idea, talked to her mom and it was out of my hands from there.”
In fact, Ray J claims that after the sex tape went public, he “felt suicidal.”
“Because when you know something’s real and it’s true and you’re watching a whole family create an empire from a lie they’ve created, it’s heartbreaking and disrespectful to all the entertainers who have been honest and true to their craft,” he said, alleging that he couldn’t get certain jobs because of his public “image” at the time. “Because of what they made me, I’m not allowed to be in those places.”
“For me, I’ve been walking on eggshells thinking I’m going to get in trouble for telling the truth and I’ve been holding onto it for the past 14 years and watching them humiliate me,” he continued. “They’re celebrating my destruction.”
As for the alleged sex tape with rumored new footage, Ray J claims it “wasn’t a sex tape.”
“It was a lot of pictures, a lot of little mini videos and a lot of proof we’ve been talking over the years [since our split],” he alleged. “If you send me an email in 2008, the computer doesn’t change the date on it.”
Ray J also provided alleged screenshots to the Daily Mail of a supposed conversation between him and Kim about her new Hulu reality show.
After he questioned the comments that she made about how the alleged second tape possibly contained footage of her when she wasn’t awake, Kim allegedly clarified that she was joking.
In the alleged text conversation, Kim also offered to put out a statement making it clear that she wasn’t trying to involve Ray J in the situation.
According to TMZ earlier this year, Ray J’s former manager, Wack 100, allegedly teased the existence of a second sex tape last year.
In January, during an interview with Hollywood Unlocked’s Jason Lee, Kanye said he “went and got the laptop from Ray J myself that night and then got on a red-eye [flight]. I met this man at the airport, and got on a red-eye, came back [and] delivered it to her at 8 a.m. in the morning.”
That same month, a spokesperson for Kim confirmed to Page Six that there was a laptop but denied the existence of a second sex tape.
“The computer and hard drive collected were supposed to contain the original video and any unseen footage. After review, there was nothing sexual unseen, only footage on the plane on the way to Mexico and footage at a club and restaurant on the same trip,” read the statement.
“Kim remains firm in her belief that there is no new second tape that exists. After 20 years, she truly wishes to move on from this chapter [and] focus instead on the positive things she continues to do as a mother, entrepreneur and advocate for justice reform.”
