N.Y. Mom of 10 Welcomes 3rd Set of Twins!

New York mom Kimberly Alarcon, 37, has not one, not two, but THREE sets of twins!
On Instagram this week, Kimberly announced that she and husband John Alarcon welcomed their third set of twins, sisters Kenzy and Kenzley, on April 25.
“They are our last addition and made our tribe a solid 10,” Kimberly wrote, noting that Kenzy is “3 minutes older than her little big sister.”
While Kenzy was born weighing 4 lbs., 15 oz., Kenzley was born at 5 lbs., 9 oz.
The mom of 10 also noted that “so far Kenzy is our milk guzzler,” and Kenzley is enjoying “taking her place as the youngest and baby of our tribe” and absolutely “loves to be held.”
Sadly, Kimberly admits, “It was a difficult pregnancy.” Not only were her babies breech, she underwent her first cesarean.
Additionally, Kimberly was originally pregnant with triplets, but, “Unfortunately while at the doctor’s office, I miscarried who I believe was my boy Kent.”
Despite this tragedy, Kimberly is grateful for her two new additions, writing, “God gives us what he knows we can handle,” adding, “Thank God that we made it.”

Per “Good Morning America,” Kimberly and John are also parents to Brittney, 17, Sarah, 13, Hunter, 10, twins Zachary and Zoey, 6, and twins Oliver and Olivia, 4. Additionally, they’re fostering their 3-year-old nephew King.
While speaking to NBC New York, she said, “We’re still in awe, that’s all I can say,” about her pregnancy, which happened without fertility treatment.
Despite twins running in Kimberly’s family, Dr. Angela Silber, the chief of maternal fetal medicine at Westchester Medical Center, told “Today” that it is “highly unusual” to welcome “three sets of twins back-to-back without medication or any intervention.”
Either way, Kimberly and John have always wanted a big family, telling the morning show, “Having a packed house is normal for me,” noting that her mother had 10 biological children and adopted eight more.
Overall, Kimberly told “Today,” “It’s a handful, but we are grateful.”
“We have good days, we have bad days, just like any other family,” she added. “We just take it one day at a time.”
Congratulations to Kimberly and John on your TWO new additions!
