Stevie J Apologizes to Faith Evans on Mother’s Day

Stevie J has issued an apology to his estranged wife Faith Evans, and appears to hope that the two will reconcile.
In an edited Instagram post that was originally published on Mother’s Day, the music producer wrote the singer a note in which he says he is sorry for his past actions.
“Faith Rene Jordan, I’ve hurt you, disrespected you, and humiliated you in front of the world,” he began his message.
“From this day forward, I promise to listen to your feelings and be more delicate with your heart. I also promise to build you up even more & to communicate daily with you, respect you and love on you until you’re as happy as you were when we got married.”
Stevie concluded his note, saying, “I’ve learned my lesson and I NEVER want to live without you because God knows I’m a better man with you and I’m asking you to find it in your heart to forgive me and allow me to rebuild our trust. Happy Mothers Day x I love you.”

Stevie’s message to Faith comes months after he did an interview in March in which it appears he is engaging in a sex act while speaking to “Leah’s Lemonade” host Leah A. Henry.
When a hand entered Stevie’s frame, Leah asked, “Why am I in bed with you right now?” referencing the fact that Stevie was in bed and shirtless.
“You’re a distraction. Pick the camera up,” Leah said, to which Stevie replied, “Where do you want me to take the camera to?”
Needless to say, Stevie received immense backlash for the interview, as one Twitter user called his alleged antics “low-key sexual harassment.”
Back in November, Stevie filed for divorce from Faith after they tied the knot in July 2018 in a Las Vegas hotel room.
Per court documents, in December, Faith asked the courts to deny Stevie's request for spousal support amid their ongoing divorce.
Additionally, Faith asked to keep her assets from before and since the marriage, including “all property acquired prior to marriage, by gift, inheritance, or devise and after [the] date of separation.”
Despite their split, it appears the two may have spent the holidays together.
During an interview with “Entertainment Tonight” in December, Faith told the outlet, “I'm pretty sure [Stevie] will be here for the holidays.”
