Bobby Brown Sees Late Children Bobbi Kristina & Bobby Jr. in His Dreams

Bobby Brown reveals how he remembers his late children, Bobbi Kristina and Bobby Jr.
In a revealing new interview with People ahead of the release of his new A&E docuseries “Biography: Bobby Brown,” the singer says he has recurring dreams about his late daughter and son, who died at ages 22 and 27 in 2015 and 2020, respectively, both as a result of drug abuse.
“I always see them at beaches or in fields,” the former New Edition group member said.
“They’re running away, but they’re laughing. And they’re always together. I didn’t have many dreams about Bobbi Kris before Bobby Jr. died. But then all of a sudden — floods of dreams.”
Though they are gone, Bobby says envisioning Bobbi Kristina and Bobby Jr. together is “enough for a father to feel like God has them.”
On January 31, 2015, Bobbi Kristina, whom Bobby shared with late wife Whitney Houston, was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Alpharetta, Georgia, home — similar to how Houston was found inside her Beverly Hills hotel room in 2011.
While Houston died due to a combination of coronary artery disease and cocaine intoxication, Bobbi died in hospice care on July 26, 2015.
On November 18, 2020, Bobby Jr. — whom Bobby shared with ex Kim Ward — suffered an overdose of alcohol, cocaine, and fentanyl and was found dead inside his Los Angeles apartment.
“No family, no father should have to go through this,” Bobby said, adding that Bobbi Kristina and Bobby Jr. “were both musicians and loved to sing.”
“Their relationship was tight,” Brown said about their brother-sister bond. “They’d get into their little tiffs, but they were thick as thieves.”
As to how he is coping, Bobby reveals he is sober and in therapy, adding, “I’ve cried, but not how I want to. I really want to just scream [at] the top of my lungs and cry, but it’s just not there.”
From his loss, Bobby hopes to help others who are dealing with addiction issues, and — along with wife Alicia Etheredge — is using his celebrity to speak out about the dangers of drug abuse, particularly fentanyl.
Bobby is also leaning on the support of his remaining children, including Landon, LaPrincia, and his three youngest with Alicia, Cassius, Bodhi, and Hendrix.
