Kenya Moore Says Her Divorce Still Isn’t Finalized 1 Year Later!

Kenya Moore is still legally married to estranged husband Marc Daly.
While appearing on a late-night talk show on Sunday, the star of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” says her divorce from the businessman has yet to be finalized a year after her filing.
“I feel like it’s been going on for years too,” the Kenya Moore Haircare creator said. “I want it to be over. The holdup is on the other side.”
“Get me free! Get me free!” she jokingly added.
After tying the knot on a beach in St. Lucia on June 10, 2017, the couple first split in September 2019.
“It is with profound sadness that I regret to inform my fans that I am divorcing my husband Marc Daly,” Kenya told People at the time.
“Due to recent and ongoing circumstances, I can no longer continue in the marriage. My sole concern and focus is and will always be my [now 3-year-old] daughter, Brooklyn, my miracle baby. She was made in love and true commitment. I ask for our privacy to be respected moving forward.”
Marc released his own statement, asking the media to “please respect our privacy during this challenging period.”
After the two seemingly reconciled for a short period of time, Marc confirmed that he and the Bravolebrity had broken up again in January 2021.
“After recently attending mediation, Kenya and I have agreed to end our marriage. I will always have great care for her and look forward to amicably continuing to co-parent our daughter Brooklyn with an abundance of love and wisdom,” he wrote in a statement.
“As always, in addition to perpetual self-improvement, my primary focus will continue to be helping the underserved and people of color in Brooklyn to recover from the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic,” he continued.
Later in May, Kenya filed for divorce from Marc and is reportedly seeking full physical and legal custody of their daughter.
Last week, Kenya appeared on our show and spoke about rumors that Jeannie is joining “RHOA”!
“Yes! I heard that rumor too! Taking [current Housewife Kandi Burruss’s] place, I did hear that,” Kenya said.
Despite the murmurs, Jeannie confirmed that she is NOT in talks to join the hit reality TV show.
“But no, that is literally, do you know when they say where’s there’s smoke, there’s fire? That was a complete rumor,” our co-host said. “I haven’t talked to one person, my people haven’t talked to one person from Bravo, so that was a complete rumor that got made up.”
