A major highlight of "The Real’s" fourth season is our Hotline Bling segments, in which we have live video calls with fans from all over the country, on-air! We’ve had the pleasure of giving them advice and prizes, answering questions, surprising their family members and playing games!
We’ve utilized the Instagram Story and Facebook Live platforms to give all of our followers a glimpse into the everyday, backstage happenings at "The Real." From the host’s dressing rooms, to live calls with fans at home, and dancing along with audience members after we wrap filming, we take viewers along with us every step of the way.
Each week, we discuss trending news stories and determine who earned the biggest “L.” We incorporated an interactive element by allowing our followers to vote in an Instagram Story poll to determine who, of two options, will receive a ticket on “The L Train.”
During “Hit Reply,” the ladies respond to some of the comments we receive on social media, giving them the opportunity to clear up some things. They keep it totally honest while replying to it all!
We took a partnership with Ford to all of our social platforms via a digital giveaway. Users were encouraged to nominate someone special in their lives who they felt was deserving of a new car! Our followers submitted videos recommending their special someone for a very special prize. In the end, a female duo of best friends took home a brand new Ford Fusion.
Every day, we film an additional Girl Chat segment exclusively for YouTube, in which they explore a topic that allows for “no limits” commentary.
