Emmy Award-winning host Jeannie Mai Jenkins can be seen each weekday on the nationally syndicated talk show The Real. In 2018, Mai Jenkins and her fellow The Real co-hosts received a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Show Host. The show, which returned for its seventh season this fall, has received multiple Daytime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Talk Series, and has received two NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Talk Series.
Mai Jenkins also serves as a sideline correspondent for ABC’s hit summer extreme mini-golf competition series, Holey Moley, which is currently airing its second season.
A style expert and producer, Mai Jenkins recently launched her web series titled Hello Hunnay, which takes fans on her journey through fashion, fitness, finances and relationships. The digital series releases weekly on Kin, Facebook and YouTube with over 590K subscribers and continues to grow weekly. Mai Jenkins also hosts the podcast Listen Hunnay, where she interviews everyone from sex therapists to divorce lawyers and morticians to crime scene investigators in an effort to understand the journeys of the heart of the human being behind the career.
Deeply committed to charities that advance women’s interests, Mai Jenkins serves as a board member for various organizations, including Dress for Success and Same Sky, which builds the business potential for women. As a first-generation daughter of immigrant Vietnamese and Chinese parents, Mai Jenkins strives to give back to her homeland by frequently traveling to Asia to volunteer her time with inspiring organizations dedicated to helping those who are less fortunate. For the last several years, she has served as an advocate to fight human trafficking and has been an ambassador for the Pacific Links Foundation, Step Up, Nightlight International, Not For Sale and Heartbeat Vietnam. In 2017, Mai Jenkins executive produced Stopping Traffic: The Movement to End Sex Trafficking, a documentary that investigates the international crisis of human sex trafficking from a deeply personal point of view. She is currently working on the follow up.
