Comedians Keith and Kenny Lucas, known as The Lucas Brothers, are the writers behind the critically acclaimed film “Judas and the Black Messiah,” but the movie might not have happened without a ton of persistence. The brothers reveal what they call an “institutional bias” against stand-up comedians when taking on a project of this magnitude. They also double down on the call to remove J. Edgar Hoover’s name from the FBI building for “committing war crimes against Black people.”
